往事越千年，一首《清明》依旧
又是一年清明节，最熟知的要数唐代诗人杜牧的《清明》了。

原诗：《清明》

清明时节雨纷纷，
路上行人欲断魂。
借问酒家何处有？
牧童遥指杏花村。
清明节那天，诗人不能够回家扫墓，孤零零一个人在异乡漂泊，心中愁肠百结、万般凄苦。天不遂人愿，将牛毛细雨纷纷洒落下来，诗人眼前迷蒙蒙，春衫已然湿漉漉。万般凄苦萦绕心头，简直像是失了魂魄！找个洒店避避雨，暖暖身，消消心头的愁苦吧，可异乡人啊！酒店在哪儿呢？诗人想着，便向路旁的牧童打听。骑在牛背上的小牧童用手向远处一指，酒家就在不远处的杏花村。一面酒店的幌子高高挑起，正在招揽行人呢！
这首小诗，用优美生动的语言，描绘了一幅活灵活现的雨中问路图。小牧童的热情指引，自然会叫诗人道谢连声；杏花村里那酒店的幌子，更在诗人心头唤起许多暖意！
《清明》千百年来传诵不衰，并且成为中国诗歌史上被变体最多的一首古诗。
光通过断句的改变，就翻出了很多花样。
如相传苏轼登云龙山放鹤亭拜见张山人时改的小令：
清明时节雨，
纷纷路上行人，
欲断魂。
借问酒家何处？
有牧童，
遥指杏花村。
有人则将其改为一首词：
清明时节雨，
纷纷路上，
行人欲断魂。
借问酒家何处？
有牧童遥指，
杏花村。
另如于丹版：
清明时节雨，
纷纷路上行。
人欲断魂借问酒。
家何处？
有牧童，
遥指杏花村。
还有把诗意改变的恐怖版：

旧时有人为了给孩子启蒙，将其改为三言诗：
清明节，
雨纷纷，
路上人，
欲断魂。
问酒家，
何处有？
牧童指，
杏花村。
清代有位文人，觉得《清明》诗不够精炼，他认为，“雨纷纷”自然在清明时节；“行人”必然在路上；第三句是问句，“借问”就成多余；“牧童”只是被问者，无关大要。因此主张将每句头两个字删除，遂成一首五言绝句：
时节雨纷纷，
行人欲断魂。
酒家何处有？
遥指杏花村。
有一剧作者曾略添数字，将《清明》诗改成了一出精巧古雅的戏曲小品
